{"id":324,"date":"2016-01-17T18:41:31","date_gmt":"2016-01-17T23:41:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newbritainpedi.com\/site\/?page_id=324"},"modified":"2016-06-10T14:55:04","modified_gmt":"2016-06-10T18:55:04","slug":"dr-amy-garaffa","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.newbritainpedi.com\/site\/doctors\/dr-amy-garaffa\/","title":{"rendered":"Amy Garaffa, M.D."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Garaffa was born and raised in Manchester, CT.\u00a0 She graduated <em>summa cum laude\u00a0<\/em>from Tufts University in Medford, MA, where she received a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Development.\u00a0 Dr. Garaffa then headed back to Connecticut to attend the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington.\u00a0 She completed her pediatric residency at Connecticut Children\u2019s Medical Center and is a board certified pediatrician.\u00a0 During her three years of residency training, Dr. Garaffa had the good fortune to work with Dr. Lamoureux at New Britain Pediatric Group for her continuity clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Garaffa is very excited to join the exceptional pediatricians and staff at New Britain Pediatric Group full-time in July 2012.\u00a0 She looks forward to caring for children and developing strong relationships with patients and their families.<\/p>\n<p>During her free time, Dr. Garaffa enjoys reading, watching movies, swimming, and traveling.
